Ferragamo’s Latest Campaign is a Celebration of Florentine History and Renaissance – CR Fashion Book

Photographed by Tyler Mitchell, Ferragamo’s Fall/Winter 2023 campaign captures the rich artistic history of Florence by setting the collection against some of the most famous Italian Renaissance art. Entitled as the Renaissance collection, the theme seems fitting as the brand enters a new era.

Appointed just last year as Ferragamo’s newest creative director, Maximilian Davis has focused on the House’s archival legacy for his most recent collections. Both the Fall/Winter 2023 collection and campaign itself emphasize the blend between contemporary and history.

“The Renaissance is hardwired into Florence, and Florence is hardwired into Ferragamo,” said Davis. “At this time of a new beginning at the house, it made perfect sense to reclaim the cradle of the Renaissance as our spiritual home, and to harness the deep, artistic spirit of this city to showcase the new collection.”
